• Do you like the idea of selecting which events you want to swim at the meets?
• Do you want to spend more time with your fellow team mates?
• Are you interested in seeing how you swim against the other non-YMCA Swim clubs in Maine?
• Are you interested in swimming in the same League as Michael Phelps and Ian Crocker? 

If the answer to any of the questions above is “Yes” then sign-up and join the other PTSC swimmers who also swim in the USA swim program!  The USA program is the feeder program for the Olympics and is available to all PTSC swimmers, of all ages and abilities, who love to swim and compete!  There are currently two swim club programs in Maine, the YMCA and the USA.  By swimming with the YMCA and joining the USA Swim program, you will have the best of both worlds in that you can complete in both programs! 

The cost to join is:

• $75 to the YMCA (to cover coaching time, expenses and USA Membership costs)
• $75 for an annual individual membership in the USA program (includes Splash Magazine, online access to times and access to motivational programs).
• Cost to register at the individual meets, which varies (typically $3 for each event you select decide to swim)
• 1st deadline is November 23rd in order to be able to swim in the fall 2011 meets & Bowdoin Open
• 2nd registration deadline is December 15th in order to be able to swim in any 2012 USA meet.
• If you register by the November 23rd deadline, you get to swim in the Candy Cane meet in Dec 2011 & any 2012 meet!
