Fundraising

Various fund raising events are held throughout the year. Yearly fundraising goals are established to cover team expenses not covered by the registration fee (trophies, awards, ribbons, swimmer gifts, banquets, registrations fees for the State, Regional and National meets, etc.).

The more funds that the team raises, the better we can reward our swimmers at the End of Season Banquet. Past team gifts have included jackets, pants, towels, swim bags, etc.

Fundraising Goals and Program:
We strive to reward and recognize all our swimmers throughout the season with: ribbons for every swim, Personal Best ribbons, recruiting, attendance, Polar Bear pride awards, and our memorable year end banquet. To make this possible, we supplement the YMCA program fees with our fundraising program efforts.

Fundraising Financial Goal: $85-$90 per swimmer
